Fifty Eight Happy 420

The Storm Family Oct 10, 2010 Mesa Cyckes Burnin at the Bluff. Matt, Katie, Hank, and Gracie.

Today marks one week exactly from my most recent car meets me incident, and it was my second day back at work. Walked home yesterday via my exact bike route in exactly 1hr...I was cooking, but fuck walking is slow! I am slow and stiff, but getting better each day. Planning on some dirt church this sunday on MF if the weather/conditions hold. I have a new kona on the way too. last but not least if you don't know about my homegirl SASHA, well than you better check her out! Truly PAF!

Superior attitude, Superior state of mind!

#57 Filling the Void

So besides biking another favorite past time of yours truly is earth surfing, shreddin the gnar, surfin the white winter wavve...Snow Boarding. I have been fortunate to make it out west 10 of the past 12 years, and this past January was no exception. New scenery, mountain, and some really good friends and family to couch surf! Spent most my time at Loveland, and I can't believe all the time I've spent in CO and I hadn't shredded LL. Anyways Katie and i had a great vaca, enjoy a few pics. In other news looks like our wonderful sponsor Kona has landed Stormy another 18" 2011 Big Unit...my baseball cards will not go to waste!

it's been too long, but I'm back!

It's hard to blog when all you got is an iphone?!

Almost 1 year w/o a post, and now with my new macbook I have no choice but to waste your(my) time again! A lot has happened since my last post and I will do my best to fill in the blanks. This past Wednesday morning on my normal commute I was doored traveling about 20mph right into the sharp corner of a toyota camry! Not the best way to start your day and certainly not something I would ever wish on anyone. I got really lucky for sure and I'll be back on the bike commuting hopefully by mid next week.

As far as my new 2011 big unit frame, Niner carbon fork, and truvative hbar goes they have been deemed totaled by the Hub and it looks like my dream race bike is dead before it ever began. Pretty bummed about that and also missing Bone Bender today really was pretty shitty, but a sixer of sierra nevada will cure what ales ya! I had a great 2010 and look forward to a great 2011. So far this year has seen 3 overnights on Bell, 3 Middleforks, 2 berrymans, tons of chubb, 3 CBL trips, shreddin the gnar in CO, and more road miles than I can remember. This recent accident is just a minor set back, and Im still chasing that sub 200 class.

So I'm looking to replace my mtb race bike, and dealing with the ins co. is a real bitch, but I should hopefully come out with an upgrade?! I am so bummed my Big Unit is done, but I hope to at least get another Kona...Hei Hei 29er?! We shall see

See you tomorrow.
